Working groups have met and represented an excellent opportunity for exchanging ideas, enhancement, and mutual contamination. And since we understood the fundamental role of public governance, we focused on confronting our local authorities and the result we achieved has been tangible and extraordinary: the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding and common vision among the local governments.

Here the Resolution of the Regional Council of Piemonte 10 September 2021, n. 20-3778 (in Italian).

What does this mean? And why is that so important? It means that the local public bodies (Piemonte Region, City of Torino, Metropolitan City of Torino and Piemonte Mobility Agency) have identified a common vision to seize the opportunities offered by the MaaS transformation and they put it on paper. It also means the capability of looking together at the future of our mobility, with hamonised policies and continuous dialogue.

In favour of what? In favour of simpler, more flexible, more multimodal and ultimately more intelligent and sustainable mobility, capable of generating benefits for the entire community.

This agreement shows the ability of our territory to play in the MaaS game like a real team, placing Torino and Piemonte, once again, at the forefront of the national landscape in digital innovation.

And what will be the results of this common vision? “Stay tuned” to find out how mobility will change for our citizens in the near future.
